Dear colleague,

You are still in time to participate in the VIII International Conference on Environmental, Industrial and Applied Microbiology - BioMicroWorld2018, which will be held in Torremolinos, Malaga (Spain) from 24 to 25 May 2018.

This two-day conference will offer an excellent opportunity for researchers from a broad range of academic disciplines to present, exchange and disseminate information and experiences in the fields of industrial microbiology, biotechnology, environmental sciences, food and medical microbiology, and other related fields. Have a look at the detailed list of topics proposed for the conference.

BioMicroWorld2018 consolidates a series of conferences, whose last edition was attended by around 300 researchers from more than 50 countries. We expect this year's edition to be even more successful than the previous one in terms of quality, relevance and attendance.

In this edition, we are honoured to present an extraordinary guest, Professor Antonio Villaverde from the Autonomous University of Barcelona, who will deliver a Plenary Lecture during the Conference. The title of the Lecture will be Bacterial amyloids for materials sciences and biomedicine. You can take a look at the plenary's abstract here. We hope you can enjoy this amazing researcher.

If you are interested in presenting your most relevant recent research results at the conference, we now welcome proposals for oral, poster or virtual presentations.

Join us in Torremolinos in May!

Torremolinos is a municipality on the "Costa del Sol" of the Mediterranean Sea immediately to the west of the city of Malaga. The city, which is one of Spain's most visited tourist destinations, has a cosmopolitan, multicultural and tolerant atmosphere that attracts visitors from all over the world, who enjoy excellent weather (with more than 300 days of sun each year), the Mediterranean Sea and vast beaches of fine sand.

Or could you be interested in our virtual participation?

This kind of participation is thought for those researchers unable to attend the conference in Spain but that are interested in presenting their works at the conference. More info
